Yandaz Ghana Limited ("Yandaz," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to a recruitment process that is fair, transparent, and legally secure. This policy outlines how we process the personal data of job applicants, prospective employees, and contractors throughout our hiring lifecycle. We operate in full compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.

Yandaz Ghana Limited is the designated "Data Controller" for all candidate information. Our recruitment data infrastructure is managed with strict access controls, ensuring that only authorized Human Resources personnel and the specific hiring managers for your applied role have access to your personal files. We maintain a centralized data governance framework to protect your information across all digital and physical touchpoints.

- Psychometric and Skill Test results

3. Purpose and Scope of Data Processing
Your data is processed solely for legitimate recruitment and human resource management purposes, including:
- Application Management: Facilitating the technical intake of your application and tracking its progress.
- Competency Assessment: Using your history and test results to evaluate your suitability for a specific career path at Yandaz.
- Identity & Integrity Verification: Conducting background checks, verifying academic credentials, and ensuring your "Right to Work" in Ghana.
- Talent Pool Management: Retaining your details to offer you future roles if you are not selected for your immediate application.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Monitoring our recruitment statistics (on an anonymized basis) to ensure Yandaz remains an equal opportunity employer.
4. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Recruitment
Yandaz utilizes advanced AI Screening Tools to assist our recruiters in processing large volumes of applications. These tools may rank candidates based on keyword matching (e.g., specific coding languages or years of experience). No candidate is automatically rejected by AI without a human recruiter reviewing the file. You have the right to request a manual review of any automated screening decision.
5. Third-Party Data Sharing & Security
To provide an efficient recruitment experience, we share your information with audited vendors:
- Enterprise Productivity: We utilize **Google Workspace (G-Suite)** for communication and document storage. Data is stored on secure Google Cloud servers with multi-factor authentication.
- Background Check Services: We may share limited data with authorized third parties to conduct criminal record checks or educational verifications, strictly in accordance with Ghanaian law.

6. Your Legal Rights as a Candidate
Under the Data Protection Act of Ghana, you possess significant control over your data:
- Right of Access: You may request a comprehensive report of all personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You may request immediate correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
- Right to Erasure (The Right to be Forgotten): You may request that we purge your candidate profile from our Talent Pool at any time.
- Right to Data Portability: You may request that we transfer your application data to another employer in a structured format.
7. Data Retention & Safeguarding
We retain candidate information for a period of **24 months** following the final decision on your application. This period allows us to handle potential legal inquiries regarding the selection process and to reach out for future vacancies. After 24 months, your data is securely deleted or permanently anonymized. If you are successfully hired, your data will be transferred to your official **Employee Personal File** and governed by our internal Employee Privacy Policy.
