Refund & Cancellation Policy

Yandaz Ghana Limited ("Yandaz," "the Administrator," "we," "us," or "our") provides intangible, digital advertising and promotional services. Due to the immediate activation and consumption of these services upon payment, Yandaz operates under a strict **No-Refund Policy**, subject to specific statutory exceptions under Ghanaian commercial law. This Policy outlines the exhaustive criteria for refund eligibility, the formal dispute process, and our stance on fraudulent chargebacks.
1. Statutory Finality of Digital Sales
By purchasing a "Boost Plan," "Top Ad," or "VIP Spot," you are acquiring a non-tangible, digital service that is consumed in real-time. Under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), the typical "cooling-off" period for consumers does not apply to services that have begun with the consumer's consent before the end of the seven-day period. Consequently, once a promotional feature is activated on your ad, the service is considered fully rendered and is irrevocable and non-refundable.
2. Criteria for Refund Eligibility (Exemptions)
Yandaz maintains a fair-use policy. While digital services are generally final, we recognize the following scenarios as valid grounds for a refund request:
🛠️ Verified Service Non-Delivery
If you have successfully completed a payment via Mobile Money (MoMo) or Card, but our platform failed to apply the promotional feature to your ad due to a proven technical malfunction on our server side, you are entitled to a refund or an equivalent service credit.

In cases of confirmed "Double Billing" (where the same transaction ID results in two separate withdrawals for the same specific service), Yandaz will facilitate a return of the redundant funds once the payment gateway partner (e.g., Flutterwave) verifies the discrepancy.
3. Rigorous Non-Refundable Scenarios
â›” No Refunds Shall Be Issued In the Following Cases:
- Prohibited Content Deletion: If your announcement is removed for violating our Prohibited Items Policy (e.g., posting weapons, narcotics, or counterfeit goods), all associated fees are forfeited as a penalty for breach of contract.
- Early Ad Deactivation: If you sell your item within hours of boosting it and manually delete the ad, the remaining duration of the boost is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Subjective Performance: Refunds are not granted based on "Low Lead Generation" or if the seller is dissatisfied with the number of calls received. Yandaz guarantees Visibility, not Sales.
- Accidental Purchases: "My child used my phone" or "I clicked the wrong button" are not valid grounds for a refund under our digital security protocols.
4. Formal Refund & Dispute Procedure
If you believe your case meets the criteria in Section 2, you must file a formal **Billing Dispute** within **48 hours** of the transaction:
- Submission: Email billing@yandaz.com with the subject line "Refund Request - [Transaction ID]".
- Documentation: You must attach a screenshot of the MoMo/Bank confirmation SMS and provide the unique Yandaz Ad ID associated with the payment.
- Audit Phase: Our internal logs will be audited against the payment gateway's success logs. This process takes 5 to 7 business days.
- Disbursement: Approved refunds are sent back via the original payment method. Please note that external bank processing times in Ghana may add another 3 to 5 days to the final arrival of funds.
5. Digital Credits and Referral Bonuses
Any funds stored as Yandaz Credits or Referral Bonuses are considered "Promotional Units." These units have zero cash value and are strictly non-refundable and non-convertible. If an account is closed—whether by user choice or due to an administrative ban—all digital balances are purged immediately without any right to compensation or financial return.
6. Fraudulent Chargebacks & Blacklisting
Yandaz employs advanced fraud-tracking systems. If a user initiates a chargeback or "Payment Reversal" through their bank or MoMo provider for a service that was successfully delivered, Yandaz will:
- Instantly Blacklist: Permanently ban the user's IP, Device ID, and Phone Number from all current and future Yandaz services.
- Legal Recovery: Pursue the recovery of the debt through Ghanaian legal channels, including reporting the actor to the Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service if the chargeback is deemed fraudulent.
